This is a Shun TDM0723: Premier Chef’s knife with a blade length of 6 inches. The Chef’s knife is the one you can not be without. It features VG-Max Super Steel for a harder, sharper, and lighter blade. The handle is made from Walnut colored Pakkawood and designed to be held with either the left or the right hand. The Shun line features the tradition Japanese blade angle of 16 degrees.
Shun is Kai’s premier kitchen brand. Pieces of art: these knifes are hand-made going through a minimum of 100 steps to complete. As with all Shun the blades are made of a high-carbon steel that offers strength, hardness, and wear resistance. Shun is consistently referred to as being the best in the world and its not hard to see why.
