From Sewing to Quilting in Three Steps
One of the Little Rebel’s biggest advantages is how easily it changes between straight-stitch sewing and free-motion quilting. The magnetic quilting plate and interchangeable feet make the transition quick and straightforward.
Step 1: Remove the Sewing Foot
Begin by removing the standard sewing foot to prepare the machine for free-motion quilting.
Step 2: Install the Quilting Plate
Position the magnetic quilting plate over the sewing area to prepare the machine for quilting without feed-dog-driven fabric movement.
Step 3: Attach the Quilting Foot
Install the appropriate quilting foot, complete the quilting setup, and you’re ready to begin free-motion quilting.

Straight-Stitch Sewing
Use the Little Rebel as a straight-stitch sewing machine for piecing quilt blocks, assembling projects, and other sewing tasks. The foot pedal and feed dogs provide familiar sewing-machine operation.
Sit-Down Free-Motion Quilting
Use the included quilting extension base to support your project while guiding the fabric through the machine. Built-in stitch regulation helps produce consistent quilting stitches.
Frame-Based Quilting
Pair the Little Rebel with a compatible Grace quilting frame to move the machine over your quilt. Frame quilting offers another way to work on larger quilting projects.
Automation Options
The Little Rebel supports compatible Grace quilting automation systems, including Quilter’s Creative Touch 6 and QuiltMotion X: Foundations for Domestic Machines. Automation equipment and software are sold separately.
