Did you recently purchase a new sewing machine, or do you have one sitting at home that you’ve never fully learned to use? This class is designed to help you get comfortable with the basics so you can start sewing with confidence.
In this hands-on group class, we’ll walk through the essential functions found on most modern sewing machines. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or simply need a refresher, you’ll learn the skills needed to get your machine set up correctly and sewing smoothly.

Included With Qualifying Machine Purchases
This class is included at no additional charge with many sewing machines purchased from Millard Sewing Center.
Included training may vary by machine model. Some machines include a 1-hour Learn Your Sewing Machine class, while select premium models include an extended 2-hour class as part of their owner benefits package.

Not sure which machine is right for you? You’re welcome to attend this class before making a purchase.
If you purchase a qualifying sewing machine from Millard Sewing Center within 30 days of attending, your class fee can be applied toward your machine purchase.

This class focuses on the common features and operation of most sewing machines. While instructors can answer general questions, advanced model-specific features may be covered in additional classes or owner training sessions.
