What is the difference between these threads and the Glide brand?
Hi Cindy! Aurifil thread is cotton, and Glide is polyester. Most of these thread sets are 50wt cotton, which is great for piecing, and most of the Glide we stock is a 40wt, which will fill in your embroidery designs a little better. We also carry Aurifil in 40wt, which makes a great embroidery thread for kitchen towels and other cotton projects. 50wt will also work for embroidery, but you would have to adjust your stitch density in the Artistic digitizer first to get a good fill.
