The What or The Who?

If you asked me to name the top 100 Sewing Machines I thought we would be doing repaints or restorations on, the Kenmore 148.15600 probably would not have made the list. Does that make it bad machine? Not at all. You wouldn’t find it on my list of worst machines either. It just doesn’t have the same following that some of your more well known vintage machines have.

So why then are we looking at a freshly repainted, polished, and generally rebuilt Kenmore? Because sometimes the where you got it, or more to the point from whom you got it means a great deal more than the contents of the parts that make up that machine. Which why you’re seeing this machine here and why we are proud to have been able to bring it back to the condition it is now in.
