Simplicity 8390 (Cut). Size 9. Vintage 1969 juniors’ and misses’ mini-dress.
The mini-dress with flared skirt stitched to bodice below normal waistline has back zipper, set-in sleeves and optional purchased belt. Top-stitched V. 1 may be worn with a purchased scarf. V. 1, 3 and 4 have long sleeves gathered at lower edges with elastic casing. V. 1 and 4 have low “V” shaped neckline. V. 2 and 3 have high round neckline. V. 2 has gathered neck ruffle and long sleeves gathered with elastic casing forming self ruffles. V. 4 with contrasting bodice, skirt and “sailor type” collar has ribbon ties.
