The Panasonic Corded Ceramic Quilting Iron in Purple is a 1500 Watt economical model. Easy ironing using the ergonomic handle as well as good stable gliding of the soleplate. Sole plate is made of ceramic. Automatically shuts off if left unused at any position. Shuts off at 1min in the ironing position, 1min in the sideways position, and 10min in the upright position. Iron comes with a big U shaped ceramic soleplate allowing for wider area coverage. U shaped groove of soleplate helps mainting efficent steam circulation in soleplate. The iron is easy to maintain and long lasting. Steam hole clogging is prevented by 2-way cleaning system which are the anti-calc chemical unit inside the water tank, and the 110 g/m power shot.
