Spring presser foot for darning or free motion quilting.
Darners have become a quite a desirable item for sewing collectors and enthusiasts. Consider how many hours were spent in this art/occupation in the average household in decades past. This is a clever little item that claims to be “a new way 10 times faster” to mend. A seamstress would have used it for quilting, applique, mending, zippers, buttons, button holes and to darn stockings. A simple embroidery hoop and coiled wire to go over the sewing machine needle is all that is needed. Works on any low shank/ vertical needle sewing machine.
