Longarm Quilting 101 (In Store) 1 Hour Class

From never using a longarm to starting your first project, this is where your journey starts. We will first go over the machine functions, winding a bobbin, installing a needle and the daily maintenance needs of a longarm quilting machine. From there we will load fabric onto the machine (either demo fabric or your own project) and get started quilting. This is where we will show you how to check and adjust your tensions to achieve a perfect result. From there, you can stay to rent the machine to finish your project or use your new found knowledge to quilt at home on a machine of your very own.

Classes take place in the classroom at Millard Sewing Center.
