Quilting Service, Longarm Rental Per Hour

Prerequisites

Please complete our Longarm 101 class prior to booking rental time. If you have completed a similar class at another store then the class will likely be easier and quicker and we will get you quilting faster, but for the safety of the equipment and you we still require the class completion before renting.

Machine

You will be using the Janome Quilt Make Pro 20 Pair with a 12′ Pro Frame.

Free Motion,  Guided Motion, or Pantographs

Our rental machine makes quilting about as easy as possible with three options to work from.

	You can step behind the machine and follow along on your favorite paper pantograph pattern with the Janome’s laser to create a simple edge to edge quilt design.
If you are looking for more creative freedom, then step around to the front and pop the ruler table into place.  This allows you to utilize a selection of Janome and Sew Steady Ruler Templates to give you some guidance in ruler working your custom quilt.
	Removing the table and driving from the front sets you up with an easy to use machine that is ready to create a free motion masterpiece.

Thread Options

You’ve spent too much in time and fabric to skimp when it comes to the quilting. That’s why we are offering you your choice of two of the best threads money can buy.  You may choose either Aurifil Forty3, a 40wt cotton triple wound longarm quilting specific thread or FilTec Glide 40wt Trilobal Polyester Thread. Either option will give you a strong consistent thread that will provide you with the look you want and the quality to last a lifetime.

Batting

Shop our selection of batting or bring your own, either is fine with us. This needs to be 6″-8″ larger than the quilt top that you are providing.

Backing

Shop our selection of fabric and wide back fabric or bring your own backing material, either is fine with us. This needs to be 6″-8″ larger than the quilt top that you are providing.

Extended Demo

If you are thinking about your own longarm but aren’t sure, ask about turning your rental time into an Extended Demo by applying a portion of the rental fee towards your new longarm purchase.
