Welcome to www.MillardSewing.com. The www.MillardSewing.com website (the “Site”) is comprised of various web pages operated by Millard Sewing (“Millard Sewing”). 

www.MillardSewing.com is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Your use of www.MillardSewing.com constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully, and keep a copy of them for your reference.  

www.MillardSewing.com is an E-Commerce Site. 

Established in 1980, Millard Sewing is a family-owned business operating both physical stores in Omaha, Nebraska, and an online e-commerce store. We specialize in the sales of sewing machines, long arm machines, quilting robots, notions, accessories, and parts. We also offer repairs on all makes and models of sewing machines and sergers as well as restoration for machines of all ages.

Privacy  

Your use of www.MillardSewing.com is subject to Millard Sewing’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.

Millard Sewing and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.  

Children Under Thirteen  

Millard Sewing does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use www.MillardSewing.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.  

Cancellation/Refund Policy  

Returns, Refunds, & Cancellations: 

Refunds are issued in store credit only. Shipping is non-refundable. There are absolutely no refunds on: electronic parts, electrical parts, items cut to size (fabric, belts, etc), open box items, or parts showing any signs of installation. Please utilize the notes section during checkout to enter in the make and model of your machine if you are not sure about your part or accessory fitment. We are happy to double check fitment before shipping.  Cancellations are not permitted for back ordered or special order items.

The Linked Sites are not under the control of Millard Sewing and Millard Sewing is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. Millard Sewing content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use, and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Millard Sewing and the copyright owner. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. Millard Sewing reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in Millard Sewing’s sole discretion.  

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in any Communication Service. Millard Sewing does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, Millard Sewing specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service. The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Millard Sewing from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. Indemnification

Termination/Access Restriction  

Millard Sewing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Nebraska in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.  

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Millard Sewing as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Millard Sewing’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained 

in this agreement is in derogation of Millard Sewing’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Millard Sewing with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.  

Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Millard Sewing with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Millard Sewing with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.  

Changes to Terms  

Millard Sewing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which www.MillardSewing.com is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Millard Sewing encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.

Special Order:

Special Order items are items that we do not normally stock on hand. We order them as you do. Please allow extra delivery time for these items. If timing is critical, we are more than happy to check stock with our suppliers prior to you placing your order. No returns or refunds, period.

Warranty (Pre Owned Sewing Machines):

Refurbished machines offer 90 days of free adjustments and 6 month warranty on the motor and foot controller. Failed components whole or in part must be returned to us to obtain the warranty. It is up to our discretion as to what must be returned and what it may be replaced with. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the end consumer.

Warranty (New Sewing Machines):

New machines offer the manufacturers stated warranty which varies by model. Please inquire about a specific model for details.

Product Grading:

Our system:

• New: A new modern part that may be placed on backorder and reordered when necessary.
• NOS: New Old Stock. New never used part that is no longer being manufactured.
• Original: This indicates an original part. If no other qualifiers are listed in addition to this, then the photos are of the actual part.
  • Original, Excellent: Original part taken from a previously used machine, that is still in EXCELLENT condition. Did anyone ever even use this? The only thing keeping this from being NOS is not being able to prove it’s history.
  • Original, Great: Original part taken from a previously used machine, that is still in Great condition. This item may have some minor cosmetic marks showing signs of use, but will still function like new.
  • Original, Blemished: Original part taken from a previously used machine, that is in BLEMISHED condition. It works well, but may not look so shiny and new anymore.
  • Original, As Is: Original part taken from a previously used machine, that is in AS IS condition. These are cheap for a reason!
