Introducing a fresh face to the Aurifil family: Sondrasa of Art Quilts by Design! Known for her stunning art quilts, Sondrasa has built her brand around high-quality, user-friendly patterns that make even the most intricate designs accessible to all quilters. Now, she’s making her debut with the Desert Spring BOM (Block of the Month), a vibrant 10-month program kicking off in February 2025.

Desert Spring blends bold, large-scale designs with intricate raw- edge appliqué, all brought to life with the cheerful and vibrant prints from Just Dandy by Kate Colleran. To complement the project, Sondrasa has curated a stunning thread set featuring 12 large spools of Aurifil’s 100% cotton 50wt thread, her go-to choice for appliqué work.
