A lot of people asked us about this sample as we were putting it together for a display so we figured we would make it easy and put it all together in kit form! This was a pretty simple idea designed for everyone in the shop to be able to participate and lend a hand on it.ย We completed the project using the Janome Continental M8 for piecing and the Innova M28 for all of the longarm work.ย You could easily do the piecing on any machine and on a smaller project like this the cross hatching and applique could be completed on most home sewing machines with an applique foot and a walking foot with guide bar.
| We used select Riley Blake Confetti Cotton Solids for the strips and bear claws. The main focal point of the Quilt, we used the Wilderness & Wonder in Yellowstone by Riley Blake Designs. For the backing and some of the square pieces, we used the National Parks in Cream by Riley Blake Designs. |

We used the Sew Steady Locking Ruler
| We used the Janome M8 Continental to do all the piecing and sewing of the strips of fabric to the panel piece
Because our project was done on the longarm, we had marked out the location of where the borders of the panel were.ย This allowed us to let the longarm stitch the puzzle design on only the panel part of the quilt.
