Fagoting and Bridging Plates

The Baby Lock Bridging Plates are sewing machine accessories that keep two pieces of fabric separated at an equal distance. This bridging technique, also known as fagoting, or Spanish hemstitching, is most used in heirloom sewing. This technique is where two fabric pieces are joined by threads over an open area. Set includes two plates 2.5mm and 5.0mm.
