Spring Needle (Universal) by Schmetz
Schmetz 130/705 Spring needles are designed with a wire coil around the needle that works as a presser foot to hold the fabric as the needle goes down and release the fabric when the needle is up. This needle allows you to free motion quilt or stitch monograms without using as presser foot. The built in spring replaces a traditional darning foot, and gives you better visibility while sewing. These needles will work in household sewing machines that use a flat shank. They are sold individually.
