Snap On & Snap-O-Matic Feet
Description
These feet are removable from the shank either by snapping on or off, or by using a release button depending on the Shank Style.

Snap On vs Snap-O-Matic
We can not speak for all sewing machine companies or websites, but we have tried to keep the original Singer Snap On feet and modern Snap-O-Matic Feet separated. As you can see in the accompanying images, the original Singer shank is very narrow in comparison to its modern counterpart. Singer also offered a Slant Needle Snap On system of feet. While it is very close to the same size as it’s Low Shank version they are not the same size and not interchangeable.
