Machine Recycling Lead
Join Our Technical Team
Millard Sewing is seeking a focused and mechanically inclined individual to assist with our Machine Recycling and Parts Program. In this role, you will be responsible for carefully disassembling sewing machines to recover components for recycling and resale. Beyond the physical teardown, you will play a key role in identifying and labeling parts to maintain an organized inventory. A high level of mechanical aptitude is essential for understanding how these machines fit together, and proficiency in Google Sheets is required to log components and track our stock. While prior sewing machine knowledge isn’t necessary, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys “seeing how things work” and has a sharp eye for detail.

- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand tools.
- Digital Skills: Required proficiency in Google Sheets for inventory logging.

Shipping Lead
Join the Team at Millard Sewing!
Millard Sewing is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual to lead our Shipping Department. In this role, you will be the final link in our customer experience, coordinating closely with other team members to ensure all daily orders are processed and shipped accurately. While your primary focus will be managing outgoing shipments, you’ll also have the opportunity to assist with printing labels and checking in new inventory as time allows. Sewing experience is not required, though a basic familiarity with sewing supplies can be helpful for identifying specific parts and accessories. If you are available most weekdays and enjoy a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you!
