Description
This machine was the top seller for Bernina from 1971 to 1982, and it is still one of the most sought after vintage Bernina sewing machines. It is as smooth and fast as it’s always been and an absolute pleasure to to run fabric through.
It is in great overall condition, but does have the usual yellowing of the plastic around the motor, and it does have a social security number scratched in the front (removed in the photos for obvious reasons). We are leaving it up to the new owner to either repaint, scratch out completely, or just ignore this. It is very small and hardly noticeable, but we want to make sure you are aware since it had to be edited out of the images.
It comes with an original accessory box, and a very complete set of attachments. It also has the original red case. The original flatbed extension however is missing. Instead we are offering it with your choice of a new Sew Steady Junior table, or the equivalent dollar amount off a larger model Sew Steady table, ordered at the time of purchase.
